COSMOS Insurance is looking for a Non-motor (Non-Medical) Underwriting Officer to join its Underwriting team in Nicosia. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented insurance professional who wants to grow within a dynamic and well-established organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Profitable multiline business underwriting.
- Underwrite all accounts in accordance with underwriting guidelines and individual authority statement.
- Data analysis and regular review of portfolio.
- Work with distribution network and develop books of business.
- Administration, file keeping and organisation of client accounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Law, Finance or similar field.
- Certificate of Basic Insurance Training.
- 3+ years Underwriting/insurance experience. Applications with less experience will be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong time management.
- Strong administration skills.
- Highly motivated, self starter, team oriented, organised individual with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience with the following products will be greatly advantageous: D&O and PI.

Working Hours:
- Five day working week.
