Job Position:
General Business Risk Assessment & Underwriting Officer
(excl. Motor, Accident and Health Departments)
Nicosia
Key Responsibilities
- Profitable assessment and acceptance of insurance risks across multiple lines.
- Assessment and acceptance of all risks in accordance with underwriting guidelines and individual authorization limits.
- Data analysis and regular portfolio review.
- Collaboration with the distribution network and development of business portfolios.
- Administrative duties, record keeping and organization of client accounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Degree in Insurance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Law, Finance or another related field.
- Certificate in Basic Insurance Training.
- At least three years of experience in insurance risk assessment and underwriting, or more broadly in the insurance sector. Applications from candidates with less experience will also be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programs, particularly Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- High motivation, initiative, team spirit, organizational ability and particular attention to detail and accuracy.
- Previous experience in Directors and Officers (D&O) and Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance will be considered a significant advantage.
Remuneration and Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary, depending on qualifications.

Working Hours
- Five-day work week.
- Flexible arrival time between 07:45 and 08:30.
- Two afternoons until 17:30, with a 30-minute break.
- Three free afternoons, working until 14:00.
